Suzuka Yamaguchi is a talented Japanese professional golfer who attracted international attention from a very young age. In 2015, when she was just 14 years old, she became the youngest Japanese player to compete in the U.S. Women’s Open, showing her potential on one of the biggest stages in women’s golf while still an amateur.

The Japanese youngster built an impressive amateur career. In 2017, she won the YONEX Junior Golf Championship and earned low-amateur honors at the YONEX Ladies Golf Tournament. The following year, she achieved a historic victory at the Australian Women’s Amateur Championship, becoming the first Japanese player to win the title. She also claimed the Avondale Amateur in 2018, further proving herself as one of Japan’s most promising young golfers.

Continuing to compete at the highest level, Yamaguchi finished T36 at LPGA Q-Series in 2018, securing LPGA Tour status for the 2019 season at just 18 years old. After gaining valuable experience on the LPGA and Epson Tour, she passed the JLPGA Final Pro Test in 2024 and began a new chapter as a JLPGA professional, continuing her pursuit of success on the global stage.
