Team Yonex delivered a standout performance at the 2025 French Open (Super750), capturing titles in four events across the tournament.
In women’s doubles, Yuki Fukushima and Mayu Matsumoto (JPN) demonstrated a strong, cohesive partnership just one year after reuniting. They defeated Arisa Igarashi and Chiharu Shida (JPN) in straight games in the semifinals, then overcame a top Chinese pair in a thrilling 95-minute final to claim their second title of the season, following their January victory at the Malaysia Open.
An Se Young (KOR) captured the women’s singles crown, while Feng Yan Zhe and Huang Dong Ping (CHN) continued their winning streak from the Denmark Open by securing the mixed doubles title. In men’s doubles, world No.1 Kim Won Ho and Seo Seung Jae (KOR) earned their ninth title of the season.
The home crowd cheered as France’s Christo Popov reached the men’s singles final. Although he narrowly missed out on the championship, he fought valiantly to 19 points in the second game, displaying remarkable composure under the fans’ support. At 23 years old and ranked 8th, Popov, along with rising stars Alex Lanier (20, 7th) and his brother Thoma Junior Popov (27, 13th), represents a promising future for men’s singles.
Throughout the tournament, Team Yonex’s athletes showcased both skill and determination, captivating fans with their performances.
