YONEX TOUR PLATINUM has been selected as the official match ball for a series of major professional tennis events in 2026, including the Davis Cup Final 8, all five ATP Asian Swing events, and three WTA Tour events across Asia.
Together, these partnerships will see TOUR PLATINUM used at nine professional events throughout the 2026 season, supporting players across some of the most important stages of international tennis.
At the 2026 Davis Cup Final 8, players representing eight national teams will compete using YONEX TOUR PLATINUM as the official match ball. The event will take place in Bologna, Italy, from November 24 to 29, bringing together the eight teams that advance to the final stage of the competition.
Across the ATP Asian Swing, TOUR PLATINUM will be used at all five events, from ATP 250 through ATP Masters 1000 level. The Chengdu Open, Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships, and Rolex Shanghai Masters selected TOUR PLATINUM in 2025, while the Hangzhou Open and China Open join the lineup in 2026.
TOUR PLATINUM will also be the official ball at three WTA Tour events in Asia in 2026: the China Open, Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis Tournament, and Kinoshita Group Japan Open.
With TOUR PLATINUM used across each of these events, players will encounter a familiar match ball as they move between tournaments, cities, and playing conditions throughout the season.
Professional players adapt to different courts and conditions throughout the season. Having the same match ball from one event to the next provides a familiar element as players prepare for competition.
TOUR PLATINUM is a World Tennis (formerly known as ITF) and JTA-approved ball developed for consistent flight, bounce, and durability in professional play. For tournament use, it has also received the approvals required for use at ATP and WTA Tour events.
By supplying TOUR PLATINUM across major events throughout the 2026 season, Yonex aims to reduce one variable for players as they transition between tournaments and compete at the highest levels of the sport.
Understanding what players encounter on court and finding practical ways to support their performance has long guided Yonex product development. The same approach extends to its tournament partnerships, with TOUR PLATINUM supporting players as they compete for their teams and countries and move from one tournament to the next.
